"Once we have canter, it is important to go back to do a little work on walk and halt transitions. Sometimes your horse might become more excited after cantering and we want to make sure we still have control over those basic walk and halt transitions. We would go back out. Let's see if we can move out to that bigger circle and then we can see if we can get her to come down to the walk. Then I would start to bring my circle a little smaller halt, halt. Good and then we would walk on. Now we can go to a bigger circle, halt, halt, halt, good. "
