"Once you have rode and your are ready to dismount, you are first going to come to a halt. The reins are going to come into my left hand. I'm going to drop my stirrup and my right hand is going to be on the front of the saddle. It is important that you position your hand in a way that is going to support your weight. As you dismount, your weight is going to suspended by your hands and arms. We need to suspend enough so we can swing the right leg over the rump of the horse without making contact on him."
