"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to ride your horse with a walk. So now I'm going to show you a little bit how to steer and turn your horse riding with 2 hands on your reins. So we are just going to cluck. We are going to get her to a walk so we are going to pull our reins in the direction where we want to go. We are also going to use a little bit outside leg so I'm turning her to the left. So I'm using a little bit of right leg to push her in that direction. I'm also looking where I want to go. I'm making sure that I keep my shoulders nice and square because if I end up dropping my shoulder too much this way or dropping my shoulders too much the other way it is going to throw her off balance and she is not going to turn properly. So again just pull your reins in the direction that you want to go. You are going to look in that direction, you are going to use a little bit of your outside leg. Making sure that you have your heels down and your keeping your nice line of shoulder, hip and heel all in line. Keeping your shoulder nice and square. You are also going to make sure you are shifting your weight. Horses respond really well to weight shift. So if I'm wanting her to go to the left, I'm going to sit a little bit harder on my right seat bone. That gives her a cue that I want her to shift her body weight to the opposite direction. So that is how you want to steer at the walk using your 2 reins. "
