"Hi, I'm Kelli and this is Covey and on behalf of Expert Village, we are going to show you my options and techniques on how to lunge your horse. So the first thing we are going to do before we lunge, we are going to put a halter on the horse. So I'm going to take my right hand, I'm going to put it around her nose to hold her head study. I'm going to take the crown piece of my halter with both hands, I'm going to pull her nose gently through. Gently pull the halter up over her ears. Straighten her forelock and her mane and make sure it is not stuck in there or pulling in any uncomfortable way. I'm going to take my clip, clip it to my O ring here. Some halters would have a crown base that goes up here and around the ears and buckles through. So you want buckle it and make sure it is not to tight on your horse to put it back through. Some halters have both or some have one or the other. I personally like prefer these they are a little bit easier to put on and a little bit more easier to manage. So that is how you want to place a halter on your horse. "
