"Hi! I'm Kelli and this is Colby on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you my opinions an techniques on how to lunge your horse. so once you have led your horse to a nice open area where you will have enough room to lunge, you want to turn and face them. You are then going to switch your whip to the right hand and you are going to pull her int eh direction that you want her to go. So you are going to use the whip and kind of guide them to go out in a circle, Colby walk. So you are going to let them out in a circle. You want to stand in the middle. You are going to hold your whip like a V and you are going to pivot on your left foot while they go around you. Then you can slowly let out the lunge line as you need to. You want to make sure that you never wrap it around your hand. Depending on what kind of space you have or how excited your horse is, that will guide you to how much room you will need. Whoa. And that is where you will want to stand and hold your whip. "
