"Hi! I'm Kelly on behalf of Expert Village. I am going to show you my techniques to saddling a horse with an English saddle. Now that we have curried and loosened any dirt or sweat that might be encrusted in her fur, we are going to take our stiff bristle brush here and remove anything that we may have loosened. We are going to do it in short flicking motions. This will get deeper down into the fur, get anything off that we loosened and going to go down her leg here and hold my hand at her shoulder just so she knows that I am going down her leg; short flicking motions. Put my hand and let her know that I am headed to her hind end here so I don't startle her. I would never want to startle and be kicked. Keep my hands on her rump here so that she knows that I am going to go down her back leg so that I don't startle her. We are going to walk behind her again enough distance away so that she will not be able to kick me if something would scare her. Walk back up to her and give her a little pat and let he know that I am here. So we are going to start at the neck with short flicking motions. Put my hand on my shoulder and go down her leg and let her know that I am there. Put my hand on her rump and let her know that I am going to brush her rump and go back down her leg. When we are done, we walk around her enough distance away so I don't get kicked and that is how you want to stiff brush your horse. "
