" Hi! I’m Fran Freedman from Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary, and I’m here to talk to you about ferret sanctuaries in Arizona on behalf of expertvillage.com. Ferret Sanctuaries is great place to get a ferret. As you can see here, we have many ferrets per cage. When you adopt from a sanctuary, you’re taking a ferret that might be 1 of 50 or more, and you’re giving them one on one attention or one on two, or even one on three is a lot better. Though they top quality food and vet care and they’re happy, there is nothing better than living in a home where they can bond have a good life style with a family. There are 3 ferret sanctuaries in Arizona. There is one in Tulsan and there is one in Sierra Vista. We are the only ferret sanctuary north of Tulsan in Arizona, and that is probably why we are inundated with ferrets. We do like people to be well educated and informed before adopting a ferret, and we usually ask that you go to our website at www.morningstarr.org to fill out and adoption form on our adoptions page. Then we have conversations to make sure that they’re the right pet for you. Definitely, go sanctuaries, any sanctuary in whichever state you live in. They’re the ones that really need to get out into homes. Usually they are brought in under circumstances that are not very good, and they deserve to have a good life with a good family. You could go to stores; they’re about 150 dollars. They’re usually young babies that need a lot of time. These guys….Our adoption fee is 100 dollars for a ferret under 4 years old. Over 4 years old, it really depends the age of the ferret, it usually lowers down to about 50 dollars. If you want to adopt a pair, which we highly recommend, it’s 150 dollars. If we do have threesomes that we won’t separate just so they can all the together, we keep the rate at 150 dollars whether you adopt 2 ferrets, 3 ferrets, or more. Depending on how big the bonding cage is. we have adopted as many as 4 ferrets to one household, which was great because they basically took a whole cage. That cage now is getting one on one attention and a lot of time out, just really need that more than anything. We provide here as sanctuaries do, all the basic needs but you can provide more of the love and attention that they really need. "
