"Hi! My name is Fran Friedman and I’m with Morning Store Animal Sanctuary and I am here to talk to you about using toys as a deterrent for poop areas on behalf of expertvillage.com. I know that sounds kind of funny but anyone that has ferrets knows that no matter where you put the litter box and the cage, they are always going to find another place to make that mistake. I find that if I buy toys like this that are pretty solid they like them because they are colorful and they will sometimes even sleep beside them. I put them in the cages in the corners; this one is just sitting there. It’s all it has to do. They use to always go poop in this corner and I put a little toy there and they haven’t gone poop there since. So that is kind of a little trick that if you have a corner that they just won’t give up and it is improper for a litter because it is right on the edge where the door opens, you stick a little toy there and it is like a poop deterrent and that is what these are used for. So that is kind of a little trick. "
