"Hi there! I’m Fran Friedman from Morning Store Animal Sanctuary and I would like to talk to you about plastic toys for ferrets on behalf of expertvilalge.com. Not all plastic toys are proper for ferrets. They can ingest them and their teeth are quite sharp so you have to really be careful about the toys that you get for your ferret. As you can see Willie here, that’s Willie, let’s play, bye-bye; Willie is a great toy for ferrets because he has very strong plastic, little bit of material. So those that likes material like him. When they walk on him or drag him around, he talks to them. They don’t really care what he is saying but he does make noise and that is a favorite of ferrets; toys that make noise. So there is Willie and good strong plastic. These guys at the sanctuary here have been chewing on Willie for a long time and they have never gotten a piece off of him yet. That is a good solid toy. If you ever see a ferret toy that has a piece missing, keep an eye on your ferret for at least 2 days to make sure that they can pass that if they did swallow it or look and find the piece and that toy goes in the garbage. These are squeaky toys. They make ferrets a little crazy so watch your fingers when you are playing with them; see, goes a little nuts but they do like the squeaky ones. Like I said if you do have children playing with them with the ferrets, make sure they watch their fingers because the ferrets tend to get them a little bit agitated with the sound because it sounds a lot like a cry and it definitely gets them going. Plastic toys are good for ferrets. They do like the ones with noise. They love Willie. Make sure this plastic is hard and solid and if you do ever see a piece, remember to throw it out. "
