"In the last few years, one of the major concerns with Alpaca shows is Bio-Security. And by that I mean, making sure that your animals are not going to be getting some contagious infection, because they're at the show. So, what I have are curtains that I hang around my stalls, the perimeter of how ever my stalls I have at the show, to keep my animals from going nose to nose with other Alpacas at the show. They are all in stalls, and generally there's three to four that can go into a stall, the stalls have mats on them. They have their food and their water in the stalls, and our job during that time, is just to make sure that they're healthy and everything is always kept cleaned up. And then we just wait for our class to come up, sex, age and color and that's what we do when that time comes up then we take our animal into the show ring."
