"Hi, this Jill Bergman, I'm going to talk to you about what you do when you get to the show. You have your Alpacas in the trailer, you unload them from the trailer, and the first thing you do is you have a Vet check. The Vet checks each one of your animals very carefully, checks the microchip number to make sure that it's the animal that he is inspecting, and goes through that animal from head to toe. To make sure that animal is healthy. And after we do the Vet check, we take them to a place called the Color Check, because the classes are done by colors. By sex and by color and by age. So the next thing we do is color check, we take them to a particular spot at the show, everybody has to take their Alpacas there. The Alpacas are examined thoroughly, to see what class, what color class they should actually go in to. And from there, we take them to our assigned stalls, where we put down the mats and we keep them there the duration of the show, until the event occurs."
