"Hi, I'm Jill Bergman and I'm going to talk to you a little bit about halter training. I have a little gal here, who's actually been halter training but we're going to show you the process that we go through when we halter train. The first thing we have here is, of course, the halter, and getting them accustomed to having something being placed on their muzzle. It's a little bit intimidating at first, having this thing being placed on their muzzle, but you can see, since she is trained, she's very comfortable with us doing things around her muzzle. So go ahead Rebecca and get that halter on her. With an important thing with halter training, with a halter on any Alpaca, is it doesn't sit too far down on their nose. If it sits too far down, it blocks their breathing passages, which are right down here, and so it gives them the op, and you make sure that it's up high, making sure they have the opportunity to breathe well. Evita just likes to talk a lot, so she'll be talking the whole time we're doing this. And here she is on a halter, and she's acting like she's not quite trained but she's very very trained. Rebecca, why don't you show her, how exactly she behaves when she's halter trained. When Rebecca walks, Evita will walk. When Rebecca stops, Evita will stop. "
