Watering Alpacas

"I need to mention how important water is to Alpacas. Everyday we make sure their water is fresh, and it is the number one important item that the Alpacas take. It's great they have good hay, they have good supplements but if they don't have the necessary water, and they drink a lot of water, you could get in real trouble, have dehydration. Then when you have problems like that their immune systems go down so it's very very, water is the number one important thing that we give our Alpacas everyday. You know, another thing about Alpacas that you have to know, is they just are eating all the time. So you just want to make sure that, some people are careful and they don't think they, they don't want to overfeed them, but I just have food available for them all the time. And of course, like I said how important water is, so I have water for them all the time as well."
