"Hi, I'm Jill Bergman and I'm going to talk to you today a little bit about the demeanor of Alpacas, and I think Alpacas are rather unique. They are very gentle and very shy. They have no defenses so they are, what they consider, a flight animal. Let me go in here and just show you a little bit about how sweet they are. Now, of course I have food in my hand and that makes Carlata very very interested in me, but she is generally a very very sweet, sweet girl. And this little one, this is Eliza. She, too, is very sweet and you can hear her little hum. That's it. That's as noisy as they get. So they're very very wonderful animals to be around. Nothing feeds the soul more than to come into the barn in the early morning and be surrounded by these gentle creatures. It is just absolutely a positive treat."
