They will often times have somebody who is very experienced in the specific areas such as reptiles and they should be able to answer any of your questions. You can also purchase a book such as this one Corn Snakes Comprehensive Owners Guide, these have a lot of great information about your snake. It's housing, health, it's maintanaince and everything that you would want to know, any question you might have will most likely be found in this book. You can also go online to www.kingsnakes.com for information on any type of snakes. I got my own experience with reptiles through experience, I got my first snake a few years ago which was a ball python. All my questions that I had every time I had an issue come up what I did was just looked it up online or in a book, found the answer and I just kind of retained all that information. Now I work at a pet store and people come in all the time with questions I don't know and all I have to do is look them up and it's easy to educate myself very quickly with hands on experience here in the pet store."
