"Hi, I'm Johan Svahnstrom on behalf of Expert Village. How about the humidity requirement for your snake. Most collubra's, they don't require any high humidity at all. Most boas and pythons are okay this way as well. However, if you keep a snake like a rainbow boa or a blood python, they do like to have a little more humidity than normal. I would recommend not to use aspen at that time, use something else like spagna moss or something like that. Keep at least half the cage really humid at all times. A simple squirt bottle like this is perfect to spray down the parts of the tank that you want to keep humid once a day. Those type of snakes, they thrive in humidity and they get sick if it's too dry. Again, do your research before you put the cage together. If you do have a snake that lives in the Amazon or in South of India or something like that where it's quite humid - a rain forest snake - you do need to look into getting a good squirt bottle and keeping it moist at all times."
