"The first thing we're going to talk a little bit about today when trying to find the right snake for you, is determining the size of the snake. Now, snakes come in all different shapes and sizes, long and skinny to short and fat, and you need to figure out which is the right size for the type of room or area that you're going to have to have to be able to provide to the snake. For instance, for a blood python who is going to reach somewhere around five to six feet, rarely up to nine feet, you need to make sure you have the appropriate space for that. You're looking at a very large enclosure. Now, let's say you don't have that kind of space. You need something that's a little bit smaller, a little bit more size effective. In that case, you could be looking at somebody like this guy right here. He's a very nice little spotted python. This guy maxes at about three to four feet. He's almost there. So they don't get very big. They stay nice and small. Much more manageable especially if you live in maybe an apartment or a small home. You don't have a lot of space or perhaps there's other things to take into consideration as well, like if you have small children in the house or other small pets. You know, you always want to be responsible, and you always want to be sure that there's not going to be any kind of safety issues. The more responsible you are in that matter, the better off for everybody."
