on 8/2/2008 Just a quick comment here. Nicole is nolonger employed in this store and none of this info was ever verified by myself, the owner. Sorry for this misleading info and I will contact expert village and have it removed.

on 8/2/2008 Wow, can't believe I watched all of these. Nicole knows much less than she professes to know about the care of ball pythons. Understandable though if that's the only book she's ever read on them, and the rest of her knowledge comes from the pet store. There is so much information in this series that is wrong, it would be funny if it weren't so darn scarey how much is blatantly wrong. Who in the world verified her expertise?

on 8/2/2008 Did you READ that book? No, do NOT go ask a pet store employee, most of them don't know any more than Nicole here. Like her, they think they do. I'm sorry to be harsh, but honestly now...this is TERRIBLE information in this series. Get a good, RECENT book. Check multiple online sources--there are entire forums devoted to snake and reptile care. Ask breeders, not 17 year olds hired by pet stores to clean cages!

" On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole and I'm here to tell you about ball pythons. For more information on ball pythons you can always purchase a book like this one. The Ball Python Manual, these books often will provide you almost anything that you would like to know about your ball pythons. If it gets sick and if it's acting funny if you need to know what to put in its cage, what temperature should be at? Anything you need to know these books will usually have in it. Other alternatives would be is to go to your local pet store, pet stores will often employ people who are specializing certain areas and will often be able to answer most of your questions. Now there is also a website called www.kingsnakes.com which provides information on hundreds of different species of snakes. If you were ever to need to go on the web and look up something on your snake. I learned about snakes from basically experience I got my first ball python a few years ago. Ever since then I just feel in love with her anytime I had a question I got a book and I looked it up. Now I work at the pet store where people ask me quiet a bit of questions and every time I don't know the answer I'll go and look it up. I'll find it on the web, find it in his book and basically just educate myself on what reptile?s needs the main questions and answers from people. Working at the pet store is really really helped me learn a lot about reptiles and it's something that I really enjoy."
