Hi my name is Sarah and I’m coming to you from Petland in Pinborough Pines, Florida today and I am going to speak with you today about how to buy a pet bird. One other thing to check or feel for when you are considering adopting or purchasing a bird is to feel over the quill of the bird and make sure that the bird is good weight and is in good flesh. A bird that if you feel the quill area that is underweight will have very prominent quill and you won’t feel very much breast muscle here. If you don’t feel very much breast muscle, it could be an indication that the bird has some sort of problem going on and could not be in optimum health.
