" Hi I'm Liz Cava from FICS Nation. I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village to talk to you about feral cats. There's something called, in laymen's terms, Cat Scratch Fever. If you get bit by a cat, any cat, your own cat, but a feral cat can carry something called Cat Scratch Fever. And, go fever, then you will spike, you may spike a fever four hours later, you'll know your body will tell you, "I don't feel well." You will have to go to urgent care or the hospital. They will put you on Sub-Q antibiotics. They may hospitalize you overnight. And it can become very serious, it's just really a matter of getting medical attention immediately, but let's not have that happen, by, again, not trying to capture, contain a little wild feral cat. Just let them be until you go to Plan B which is the humane trapping system."
