"Hi, I'm Liz Cava from FIX Station and I am here today on behalf of Expert Village to talk to you about ferel cats. So you always want to have a plan before you just go out there trapping a ferel cat. You always want to have a vet appointment set up before you ever set a trap because you only want the cat trapped in the trap one night and that's the night before the surgery. They go the next morning for their surgery and then you have to keep them one more night so they can recover from their surgery. And then, they are good to go to be released back to their territory the next morning. But please, please don't trap without a plan because a lot of people do it. I guess they just think they're trying to help the cat and contain the cat and then they get the cat and they trap the cat on a Saturday. And there's no vet's office here that are open and able to spay or neuter a cat on a weekend. So that means the cat has to sit in a trap over the weekend so please try to avoid that. Only trap the night before and then basically you transport the cat to the vet the following morning. And, you're going to be organized and smart enough to know that you're going to set up that vet appointment before you ever bring out that trap."
