"I do have a question about putting Midnight with my other, older, male cat. My older, male cat doesn't seem to really want Midnight, and. That's a, That's a great question Kim and cats are incredibly territorial, and so what's happening, from your other old cat's point of view, is there's an intruder in the house and he's got to protect his territory. So the best way with cats to do that is to keep them in separate rooms. Because cats have kind of a sixth sense and they can sense somebody on the other side of the door, and what will happen is they probably will even reach under the door and start playing with each other. They get to kind of know each other, and in about a week's time period, I think where they are kind of being introduced slowly through the door, then you can actually take a time period where, maybe put your adult cat on one of those little harnesses, and bring, let him come into the room with the kitten and kind of see what happens. You need to be there during that time period because a big cat and a cat this age could actually wind up hurting this little guy. Mostly they kind of work it out because when there's a big age difference like this, this guy isn't very aggressive. He'll just roll over and give up and your other cat will just say, "okay, he's just a kitten and we're not going to hurt him today". But, I think having him on some sort of a harness so that you can have a little bit of control over the issue, if things get out of control, would be a good idea. And that seems to work well. But there's a, there's always another thing that we talked briefly about earlier. Other cats in the neighborhood. And even though, even though your cat's indoors, these other cats wandering around outside can be sensed by your cats that are inside. And so sometimes they get really upset and they start urinating inappropriate ways, and they get upset by the other cats that are coming too close. And so there are some things that you can do to keep the other cats from coming out. Millenniumlawns.com is a really interesting company that has some sprays that you can spray around your yard to keep other animals, wild animals as well as domestic animals, away. And they even have a sensor that can turn on your watering system. So if an animal comes into the area, it senses it and turns the water system on and then they leave. So there's a lot of ways that you can control the area outside of your house to keep your cats a little happier."
