"Hi I’m Dr. Adrienne Mulligan on behalf of Expert Village.com and I would like to talk to you a little bit about food and water bowls and your cats and your cat’s house in their environment and habitat. You will have areas where your cats will have beds and where they will have their play houses and it’s really better if you give them food and water away from these things. It sort of makes them exercise. You really don’t want a fat cat that can lounge around in his bed and eat when he wants because then pretty much you are going to have an overweight, obese cat that doesn’t have to move around much. So the bigger the area you give them to have to force them to go eat or get something to drink, the more exercise they are going to get in a day. So basically there are different types of food and water bowls. This is actually an adjoined food and water bowl but what I found when I put food in one side and water in the other, then the water tends to stay dirty with food. So I’ve decided on these double sides I just fill them both with food so there is always plenty out for all three of the cats. "
