Cats are great companions and fantastic at keeping rodents under control. They are very smart creatures that are not only able to learn simple tricks but they even teach themselves how to use simple mechanisms. They have an incredible sense of direction and balance and, for more than 9,500 years, cats have lived with us as pets. The Egyptians believed that they brought good luck and wanted them to stay close. With all of this, cats still need a proper home with proper nutrition. This free video series will not only give you tips and techniques for choosing the cat you want, but will also introduce it to the litter box and let you know what items you’ll need to properly care for your cat. The type of food you give your cat is essential, especially for a growing kitten. This video series also provides a detailed summary with special information on the overall health of cats, which should be of great use to any cat owner.
"Hi I’m Dr. Adrienne Mulligan and with bedding for cats mostly, it just needs to be soft and fun. Cats really like to curl up. It’s their nature to curl up in a circular ball. So bedding needs to be either oval, like this one, and in fact the size of your cat needs to come into play because this mancoon that I have, is a pretty big boy and when he curls up he makes a pretty big curl. So this is a perfect size bed for him and he basically fills it and gets to lean against the pillow sides of it. So this is a nice bed for a big cat or for two cats, which I have two of that like to curl up in this together. This is a nicer size for a smaller cat and it is completely round and the roundness again, we have a lip that they can curl up inside of, and these seem to be very popular to cats, to curl up inside of something with walls. This is also nice because they can go inside of it and hide just a little bit and have a circular place to curl up as well."
