Know Products that Make Traveling with Your Dog Easier

"I would like to show you products to use in your car with your dog. I’m at a Pet Smart Store where they have a lot of these items for you to choose from. Let’s take a look. First there is a unique object which is a shade that you put in your window and you can pull it down. The unique thing is that there is a sensor here that changes color if it is too hot to leave your pet in the car. The next item is a car seat cover and of course, you can use towels but this would be a lot nicer. This will keep the dog hair off of your car seats and also if your dog has an accident it will help out too. Now here what is called a dog hammock and the difference between this and the other is that this continues up the front whereas the car seat cover just went on the bottom in the back. Here are something called pooch pads and these are good if you have a puppy. They are absorbent and they are comfortable and they will protect the interior of your truck or your car. Now these are good. These will protect your window sill in case your dog is drooling or scratching and it just attaches right to the window sill area. For small dogs we have what is called a car booster seat and it will basically help keep your dog in the seat and if you have to put on the brakes, that will work nicely for that. Here is another booster seat and this one has a cushion so maybe this one is even more comfortable. Then there are some harnesses here. Basically you can make sure your dog is safe by putting him in a harness and attaching it to the seat belt area. Here is another one and this one might be more comfortable because it has lambs wool on the back and then here is a barrier. It’s a bit different than the one we talked about in a different video. This one actually goes behind the front seats to keep your dog in the rear seats verses some other barriers to keep the dog all the way in the back, so this is nice and portable too. We have a ramp that you can use for your dog if your dog is a large dog or older and it has a hard time getting up into the vehicle. Over here we have a portable set of stairs that can be used in a hotel or it could be used to help your pet get in and out of the car. That is just a few items that you can see at Pet Smart to travel with your dog. "
