How to Find Pet Friendly Hotels

Let’s say you’ve determined where you’re going to go. You’ve picked a destination and you’re going to travel, you’re going to bring your dog with you and along the way you’re going to have to be staying in some hotels and motels or you’re going to have in a hotel or motel once you get there. One thing you want to do is call ahead, plan ahead, you can go online and go on to the Internet and you can download, go to visit sites such as this one which is Pet Travel Guides and City Guides and this one is another one Let Us Go Pets. It gives you all the different categories where you can stay with your dog in terms of finding the hotel or motel. There are some states that have regulations that in motels you cannot stay with the dog. You want to find out if you’re going to be traveling through one of those, identify where you’re likely to stay, call in advance, reserve a room, tell them you’re going to have a dog. If you’re going to have your dog crated in the room let them know, some places might require that, some places might require a deposit for your dog but it’s always a good idea to plan a little bit in advance to know where you can stay when you go but there’s plenty of opportunity to find places that will allow you to stay with your dog and in fact most places do let you have your dog with you in the hotel or the motel.
