Training Your Dog to Bow or Pray

" Hi! I’m Tracy Tenner with Better Behavior Dog Training here at Extra Care Animal Hospital in Davie, Florida. We’re here on behalf of expertvillage.com and we’re going to be teaching you how to teach your dogs tricks. Here we are with Doc and we’re going to attempt to teach Doc how to bow some people call it “pray”. I’m going to turn him sideways so that you can see a little I have my little soft treat and I’m going to bring his head down to the ground and hopefully not his body. Bow, nope, bow good, from a standing position, bow, nope, bow…good and head back up I’m going to again attempt to bring his head towards his feet bow, good once your dog starts to get the hang of this a little more so than Doc has you can bring the treat from between his front legs which I would attempt to do right now. Bow, good boy, bow, good that’s the start of it with the head on the ground and the rear up.
