" Hi! I’m Tracy Tenner with Better Behavior Dog Training here at Extra Care Animal Hospital in Davie, Florida. We’re here on behalf of expertvillage.com and we’re going to be teaching you how to teach your dogs tricks. The next command or trick that we’re going to teach Doc is the command to circle. Doc can circle in both directions one at a time obviously and again we’re using a small soft treat in this case a hot dog that the dog likes very much and that the dog can eat very quickly. The circle literally means for him to turn around in a circle so initially I’m going to ask Doc to circle left and I simply expect him to follow the treat around, circle, circle, good and give him the treat that he can eat very quickly, that was a circle to the left. Now I’m going to ask him to circle to the right, circle, circle and once again we’re using treats to teach him so that it makes it fun and easy for him to understand. We’re going to try this command one more time, circle, circle, good boy…that was circling to the left and one more time we’ll circle to the right, circle, good boy, circle, good boy. All of these are tricks that are fun to do, fun to watch and you never know when your dog may just land a commercial and have to do them on command. That was Doc doing a circle, well we hope that you’ve learned a lot about teaching your dogs treats today and if you would like any further information you can contact us at www.extracareanimalhospital.vetsuite.com, thank you very much."
