"Where can I buy a dog? My recommendation is, if you're interested in purchasing your first or a additional dog, consult with a qualified, experienced dog trainer, or a dog lover in general. Often times a neighbor, friend or co-worker can tell you of a positive experience they've had with a past dog purchase. Many of my customers call me with both good and bad stories of how they had a good experience, as well as a bad experience. Currently in Arizona, they are slating legislation on making it illegal for anyone to sell a dog on a roadside or a street corner. I've heard stories of customers purchasing a dog like this, ending in a good story, but more times than not, dogs that are sold say on a side of a road or just from a neighbor's house, tend to have more illness and behavioral problems. So to conclude, do extensive research, talk to friends, families and neighbors. And make sure where you're buying the dog it's from a credible, a credible establishment that has healthy dogs. "
