Averages show that feeding a dog can cost anywhere from two to four hundred dollars per year, per dog. Other expenses with owning a dog can be veterinarian visits, which average with a puppy, up to four hundred dollars when you first get your dog. After puppy costs, your dog only has to go to the vet annually, which can run anywhere from fifty dollars to a hundred dollars.
