" My name is Phil Hoelcher and I am representing Expert Village.com this morning and we are going to be talking a little bit about the sport of Schutzhund. We are going to try to show you a little bit about all three phases; the tracking, obedience and protection and give you an idea today a little bit of what the sport is all about. Now I am going to make her to come to me like she would normally have to do. That’s a good girl. Step out of that blind. Now she has to remain here, walk up with me to guard him again. Sit. Now she should intently watch him here until he takes off. When he does, she immediately goes without a command, bites and she will hold him until he stops releases. This is when a little pressure is applied to make sure that she is going to stay there, and again, she should release and go into an automatic guard. Now from anywhere on the field with this dog, I can tell her to bite him and she will even if he is not moving. If I just tell her to bite she will do that. If you would like to talk further about schutzhund or like to know anything else, you can e-mail me at philhoelcher@aol.com."

on 8/2/2008 I really like my dog to be smart as other german shepherds.. It just that i need to think more unique ways or other ways to catch his attention.. hehe but at least he learned things like sit, "inside" (he will go near to his place when our car beeps or as I open my gate.), "eat" (if i say eat, he will eat his food but when he is full, he walk step back), and lastly if there is "inside" there's an outside.. hehe he will go out(but he is less responsive with this call.) Anyway, thank you for the video, you inspire me to teach my dog or train him a real german shepherd. And by the way, i do ofcourse alot of readings about german shepherd.. hehe thanks..! You've got an amazing dog! smart one! very smart one!
