One of the difficult things in handling multiple dogs in your household is taking classes is a very important part of living with or working with your dog. If you got multiple dogs you want to make sure that you have time to do different classes with different dogs. I suggest that if you got multiple dogs living in a house that either one person or different people take the dog to different classes. It is not a great idea to have one or two or more dogs in the same household going to the same class working even if they are working with different people. Because they are still dependent on each other, there relationships from home sometimes get extrapolated into class and it is better for each individual dog to have time away from the other dogs that it lives with. Working one on one with one of the people who lives in the house if there might just be one person who has all the dogs but it is important that those dogs get away from each other and so you need to make sure that if you have 3 dogs that you have 3 nights a week or that you can do dog classes or that you do one series of class until that one is finish then take the next dog, and take the next dog. So this is not just a monetary obligation so financial obligation but it is also a time obligation because it is really is critical that we do spend individual time with the dogs and the classes might not just be obedience class it could be rally, it could be hurting, it could be agility classes, a manners class, it could be a good citizens class, it could be any type of class but just some activity where you are continuing to work with your individual dog. Taking that dogs out, socializing that dog with other dogs that are outside of the house these are all things that are critically important that we don't always think about because we think well the dogs live with 5 other dogs so of course he socializes. No that dog would be socialize with the dog that he lives with, he won't be necessarily socialize with strange dogs. So it is critical to keep the dogs out, expose to new people, working in a new environments and so taking your dog to class even if you got multiple dogs is something that you need to keep in mind.
