"Hi, this is Mary with expertvillage.com. We've done the legs and now it's time to work on the back paws. Now the back paws are kind of like our feet so you're giving your dog a foot massage if you want to think about it that way. You'll also find that most dogs tend not to mind as much if you do their back feet than if you do their front feet. I'm not sure why that is but it just seems to be. The same thing as with the front paws, you're working with energy meridians down here so again you want to go inside where, in between where the pads are. And your dog may kind of act a little funny at first, maybe poke his head up, what the heck are you doing down there? Because you're doing things to the energy flow within that pad and they feel it and they really do know but you know what, it is so good for them, just like if you get a foot rub, it actually helps your entire body, the same thing is true for your animals. Again when you're done with that, just like with the front, close your hand around the paw for three seconds and then let go."
