"We want to teach our dogs to target things with their feet. The difference between touch and target is a touch is touching with their noise and targeting is touching with their feet. If I wanted her to touch, Micha touch, I would ask for a touch with the hand. Now I want with feet so I'm going to tell her target. And because, good girl, she is fairly new at it we got to encourage her a little bit which is put the treat on the Frisbee so where she starts getting interested in the Frisbee. Once she's got her interest on it, now I want her feet to touch it. So I'm going to help her out and tell her target. Good girl, and give her a treat for it. Once she's targeting you can start getting creative with it and target! And we'll give our old lady some time to think about it. Target! And hide the Cheese Whiz which is what she's following.
