"To summarize the sit command. Always address your dog with the tin man firm erect posture. Stand as tall as you can, arched back with your hands on your waistline. Of course if you're a smaller, shorter individual this will all be dependent on how big your dog is, but I would, but I would like you to think about a foot above your dog's nose for the tin man posture. Remember we talked about baiting, which is showing the dog the treat, getting their attention. Three to five seconds hold, after three to five seconds treat flat handed. In a matter of days, weeks, months, your dog will be sitting like a champ and they eventually will be doing the sit command just from seeing your posture of tin man. So good luck with the sit command, practice three to six times a day, as well as when you feed your dog, at the curb with the dog, at the front door. And soon your dog will be sitting as well as Koogle. "
