"How do I know I'm feeding my dog good dog food? The majority of customers that I do call on really have no idea what type of food they are feeding their dog. Over ninety-five percent of dry food in America has an agency approval called AFCO. AFCO sounds, stands for the Association of American Feed Control Officials. This is an agency that monitors a standard that what is in your dog food's bag actually provides a well balanced diet to your dog. This is an approved agency in America, but there are many, many ways to look at what this AFCO stamp really means. Is it actually providing the right foods, proteins, carbohydrates and fats for your dog? So, definitely have a food with the AVCO stamp, but also be aware that just because it has, says AVCO, and it's the cheapest bag in the store, it may truly not be giving your dog all the nutrients and energy that they need."
