Tips on Squeaky Dog Toys

So we’ve been talking about different kinds of toys and right now we are going to talk about squeaky toys. This is something that dogs find absolutely fascinating. Here is a great squeaker toy. In each one of these end pieces there is actually a squeaker. A number of them have probably been de-squeaked by various dogs. So squeakers are small little plastic objects that when the air ex-hales it lets out a noise. One thing that makes toys particularly fun for dogs although I have known a couple of dogs that was afraid of toys that squeaked; this is going to have a different sound. Most of them sound pretty similar. A little bit lower pitched. One of the fun things for the dogs to do is figure out where in the toy where the squeaker actually is and you can see them come pick up a toy and start to bite different parts of the toy until they get that center spot. For those of you who find this is annoying, you might not want to give squeaky toys to your dogs because I can tell you they often will find that squeaker and just squeak it for about 20 minutes solid.
