"Hi, I'm Jim Leske, animal trainer and behaviorist for Expert Village. We're here today to talk about brushing your dog's teeth. Many owners tell us it's a huge challenge, or they won't even attempt to try to brush their dog's teeth. The easiest way to start of with this is they have a product, a toothpaste that's specifically made for brushing your dog's teeth. It has kind of a meaty, gravy flavor to it. You can get it at any of the pets stores. And if you start off just putting a little bit of that on your finger, and then we start off by just rubbing a little bit of that over their teeth and massaging their gums and petting them and talking to them the whole time and they're nice and calm and this really really helps keep them calm and makes the entire teeth-brushing experience enjoyable for both you and the owner. (sic) Once you've mastered this, you can actually move on to a soft-bristled toothbrush, which will help keep your dogs clean and their breath fresh. You won't have to deal with that ugly odor of doggy breath in your home with your pet, and it helps keep everybody healthy, happy and smiling. I'm Jim Leske, animal trainer and behaviorist for Expert Village."
