" Hi! My name is Gretchen Brown. I have been teaching conformation training and handling professionally for 20 somewhat years. I am coming today on behalf of expertvillage.com to teach you how to train and show your show dog. The diet for a show dog is varied and no one diet is correct. Your first indication is look at your dog. Is his coat shining, does he have good coat, is he happy, is he healthy. Ask your vet for a food recommendation. Check with the websites for the manufacturers, check with the web sites for the veterinary colleges. They all run studies on the various foods. A lot of this is nothing more than trial and error. Litter mates may not do well on the same food. You have to play with the foods and see whether or not the food is good for your individual dog. You want to check the weight and you want to check the muscle tone. I hope I have been of some help to you this afternoon. You can contact me through the web site commanddogtraining.com. We run classes every Wednesday night and we are based out of Fort Lauderdale. Thank you. "
