Video Transcript

" Hi! My name is Gretchen Brown. I have been teaching conformation training and handling professionally for 20 some odd years. I am coming today on behalf of expertvillage.com to teach you how to train and show your show dog. You can use any kind of treat you would like while you are training your dog. I tend to use hot dogs because they are softer, quick to eat. They smell real good. Most of the dogs can smell them immediately. You can break them into very little bits so you are not over feeding your dog. You can use cheese, some people cook liver. I tend to not use biscuits because they take too long to eat and it tends to make the dog forget what he is doing. That is why I have a preference of hot dogs while I am training. I hope I have been of some help to you this afternoon. You can contact me through the web site commanddogtraining.com. We run classes every Wednesday night and we are based out at Fort Lauderdale. Thank you. "
