Are there professional competitions for dog tricks, and the answer is yes. If you keep in contact with your local organizations that have entertainment events for dogs, every so often, generally once a quarter, there will be agility championships, Frisbee championships as well as fly ball championships that you can learn more about and consider entering your dog in. So not only do tricks work your dog mentally and physically, but it definitely makes a better connection with you and your dog to give them a job and a sense of purpose. You may also do some local exploration of your local community, to see if they offer any type of trick competition as well. As well as finding your breed, any group or organization in your local city that specializes either in German Shepherds, Australian Shepherds, Golden Retrievers or Border Collies that may offer professional local competition as well.
