"Now, when you buy strawberries, issues of quality- well, you will find different kinds of- well- the strawberries may just be in different stages of ripeness. You want to separate any that are not damaged so that they will not damage your product- your end product. So basically, you need to wash them carefully, they tend to have more dirt than you would imagine. And then you remove the crown of leaves. We’re just going to cut them in smaller pieces. As we mentioned before about our strawberries, this is one way to deal with those half strawberries or whatever that are damaged, which is very common if you have your own strawberries- some bugs will eat half of them, but you can still preserve the other half. We have our fruit ready. We don’t want our fruit to cook- we want to sterilize it. so we will get it into our syrup and won’t leave it there for long.
