This is Tai and he actually has already finished his AKC championship but he is going to help us out today in teaching a dog how to gait. So we got our show collar and leash on and have it correctly placed on the dog’s neck, we are going to walk back and forth teaching a dog how to gait from one end of the room to the other. This way Tai. Stand and wait. In the confirmation show ring, your dog is always standing. There is absolutely no reason for him to be sitting so you want to get your dog very comfortable with the concept of a stand, stay or stand wait. We start off with the dog on our left hand side.
