"When I train the teeter totter, I am looking to get the dog used to the noise it makes and also to the motion of it as they walk across it. A couple of the things you need to watch out for is that as it goes down, it'll get a big bang. So as your dog is getting used to that, you can have them next to it and just get them used to the noise. Karma, here. Good. Good. So when I'm working this portion of the teeter, I'll be giving them treats while I allow it to bang against the ground and that way they become desensitized to the noise and after that, they'll be ready to begin training on the teeter itself. Good. And as you see, you're getting no reaction from her for the noise and that's where you want her to be. Its just no big deal. Good."
