Pairings of Wine in Wine Tasting Groups

In tasting with your group, especially when the group gets comfortable with each other and begins to get comfortable with what you’re looking for, you can put – there are just numerous types of pairings and matches that you can put together. Whether getting all reds of a different varietals of a different grape and seeing what you can tell about them in all. And in the groups that we had, we would start off very serious, almost clinical in our approach and we always had lots of bread, bread is great to have there, we’d usually have some cheeses. Sometimes a steak tartar or whatever, we would have nice things to eat, but we would start off and nobody would talk for about 15 minutes, it was – every time a new person would come, they would almost be scared. But let me tell you, all wine tastings end up the same, they end up with a good mellow feeling and a big grin on your face and you felt like you have really enjoyed and learned something."
