"You would apply this in the same way you always want to protect your dogs head. This one is a aerosol in oppose to pump and with any new product that you might be using you want to use a little bit on your coat to see how that product works on your dog. The mink on vitamin E is a great product for the dog it really enriches the care and it leaves the coat very shiny and smooth. There is other product this one is actually a coat manager for long coated breeds and you would actually mix this in. It is a cream okay you would mix this one to the dog after it has had a bath work it thoroughly into the coat with your hands and then you would air dry or blow dry as needed as you usually do with your dog. That particular product actually maintains the flowing look for the coat, excellent for afghan, Yorkies so breeds that are suppose to have long flowing coats when they move but you always want to try out any product in a small area of your dog. See if you like what it does to the coat, see if you like the smell cause they all have different fragrances but there is a lot of options you can use for conditioning the coat and it is a good thing to do especially if you have a coat a dog with a breed that has a coat coarse brittle coat.
