"On behalf of Expert Village, I am Terry and today I am going to show you how to use a hand held grinder. O.K. this is a buffer attachment I have grinded and polished this piece of metal out to about as far as it can go. I can get it almost mirror, but I will need this attachment right here. This almost like a scotch bright, most people call it scotch bright. Scotch bright is a brand but it is an abrasive polishing disk. It goes on like all the other attachments. Now the pad which actually called the mandrel, for mandrel pad. It works on the hook and loop system. When you got a pad this big if you get it offset it is going to wooble, come flying off and hit you in the gut. Which does not feel very good. So I lay it down on the table and veer over the top of it to center it up. And push real hard, turn the grinder on that will seat the loop. This buffer will also remove sharp edges, you know you?re not really grinding your buffing, but it will remove some sharp edges that were left from your grinder. See how nice and smooth that is, that is just another use of your grinder."
