"Hi my name is Uchendah Alete, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, in this clip we will be going over how to steam vegetables. Okay, in this steam vegetables segment, I am going to be steaming broccoli and carrots, so I just cut these things up. Once you are done chopping these up, you are ready to steam them. Now when you steam them, you have the choice of how you want it to taste. If you want it nice and crispy, you will have wait probably like 5 minutes steaming, and if you want it like really soggy and cooked, you would wait probably over 10 minutes…maybe 15. So let’s steam. So you have your water in, put the strainer on then put your vegetables in. That’s it. So you are cooking the vegetables at a crisp stage. Actually it is a little bit past the crisp stage, but as you can see they ready to get eaten."
