"Hi my name is Uchendah Alete, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, in this clip we will be going over the do’s and don’ts of steam cooking. For the last clip, I would like to show you the do’s and don’ts of steam cooking. First the rice and the spaghetti must be boiled first; not like completely boiled, but come to where the water is boiling and then from there you can steam it. Do not put rice or spaghetti directly into the strainer of the steam pot. It will not come out looking good. I would also like to say beef is not good for steaming. What it does it dries it up completely, and is not juicy or tasteful. It just gets dried up…and actually I am going to steam some beef for you, so you can see what it looks like and why you shouldn’t steam beef. Okay I am putting in my beef here and going to put on the lid and we will be back in about 5 to 7 minutes to see what the beef looks like. Okay, we are back 7 minutes later, and this is what the beef looks like. Unless you don’t want beef looking like this, you shouldn’t steam it. "
