"Hi! My name is Yessenia and I'm here with my mother Sanjuana. On behalf of Expert Village, we're going to show you how to make authentic Mexican tamales. Once you fill it all the way up, you would go ahead and cover the tamales with the towel. You would wet the towel first and then put it over the tamales. Then you would add on over it about 2-3 cups of water into the tamale pot. Cover it up. If you notice, we have some cooking right here. This one, the towel is actually still wet. About how much time did this take to cook? About 3 hours on the fire slowly. This type of pot, even though it's bigger, it would also be about 3 hours. "
